Sydney knew exactly what she wanted…purple and black splatter paint on a white wall. We used the same purple that the rest of her room was painted, but picked out a super deep plum, almost black, hue for a beautiful contrast. After taping plastic up everywhere (and feeling like I was in an episode of CSI), I started flinging paint. I had a blast doing it, and the splattering technique helped enhance the fun and edgy ambiance Sydney was creating in her room.
